Brookwood ISD is hiring bus drivers for the 2022-2023 school year. Please fill out the online application at the link below, or submit a paper copy to the District Office. Responsibilities- Getting Brookwood ISD students to school safely, on time, and ready to learn is what we do
- Transport Brookwood ISD students to and from school with the assigned route in a safe, courteous, and timely manner
- Work closely with the operations manager to oversee the daily operation
- Obey all traffic laws of Arkansas
- Always keep the assigned bus clean and orderly
- Ensure the safety of all Brookwood ISD students
- Complete a walk-through of the bus before and after each route
- Notify the operation manager in case of mechanical failure or lateness•
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
- Discipline children as needed to maintain a safe environment
- Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
- Attend safety meetings as required a Brookwood ISD head office
- Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures
- License Requirement: CDL Class A or B
- Arkansas Class A or B CDL license
- Required to pass criminal background checks
- 6 months of experience in a bus driving-related role in Arkansas
- Must also be able to read Little Rock maps, navigate, and work flexible shifts
- At least 21 years old to start driving in Little Rock
