May is Mental Health Month💚

The U.S. Surgeon General reminds us that "social connection is a fundamental human need, as essential as food and water." This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s honor that need by committing to check in on one another and building the meaningful bonds that help us all thrive.

Because no one should have to navigate life’s weights alone, your Care Match Link is available as a 24/7 lifeline for whenever daily stress feels like too much. This May, keep this resource close, for yourself or for someone you love, so support is always just a click away.

Ozark Elementary students recently concluded their Read-A-Thon with outstanding results.

Over the course of several weeks, students logged an impressive 16,000 minutes of reading. Their dedication not only strengthened their reading skills but also helped raise $4,000 in support of their school!

To celebrate this achievement, students participated in a special assembly featuring a fun and memorable reward for their hard work. After Principal Nick Lewis suited up with a shower cap, goggles and a tablecloth for protection, top readers from each class had the opportunity to “snowball” her with Cool Whip using spoons.

Congratulations to these students, families and staff for supporting this successful event and for continuing to foster a love of reading throughout the school community!

Congratulations to our Science Fair winner- Addison Myers! She won first place at this year's fair for her innovative presentation of how volcano eruptions cause changes and can damage to subsea communications cables around the world. Way to go Addison!
