Ozark Elementary students recently concluded their Read-A-Thon with outstanding results.
Over the course of several weeks, students logged an impressive 16,000 minutes of reading. Their dedication not only strengthened their reading skills but also helped raise $4,000 in support of their school!
To celebrate this achievement, students participated in a special assembly featuring a fun and memorable reward for their hard work. After Principal Nick Lewis suited up with a shower cap, goggles and a tablecloth for protection, top readers from each class had the opportunity to “snowball” her with Cool Whip using spoons.
Congratulations to these students, families and staff for supporting this successful event and for continuing to foster a love of reading throughout the school community!
